ケニア基準局（KEBS）の定めるKS１５１５：２０００に関するお知らせ（年式規制）

２０１６年から２０１７年の移行にあたり、ケニアへ輸出可能な車両の年式が変わります。初年度登録が２００９年の適合証明書は２０１６年１２月３１日をもって無効となり、車両は２０１７年１月１日より規制対象となり輸入できません。輸出業者様ならびに各関係者様はご注意ください。上記対象車両は本年度内に到着する必要がありますが、到着しなかった場合弊社では一切の責任を負いかねますのでご理解・ご了承くださいますようお願い申し上げます。

２０１７年１月１日からは、初年度登録が２０１０年以降の車両が輸出可能となります。ただし、車両の製造年が初年度登録より１年以上経過している場合は認められませんのでご注意下さい。

This is an announcement regarding the vehicle age limitation as stated in the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) KS 1515:2000

As we begin to transition from 2016 to 2017, the allowable vehicle age requirement for export to Kenya will change.  Please be advised that all vehicles registered in 2009 and issued with a Certificate of Road Worthiness from October 1, 2016 shall have a maximum validity date of up to December 31, 2016.  Furthermore, inspected 2009 registered vehicles must arrive in Kenya on or before December 31, 2016.   Please be advised that QISJ assumes no responsibility for failure to do so.  As mandated by KEBS regulation, beginning January 1, 2017, all vehicles registered in 2009 will not be allowed for export into Kenya.

From January 1, 2017 only vehicles registered in 2010 shall be allowed export into Kenya.  However, please note that the year of registration and the year of manufacture should not have a gap of more than one year.  For reference, please refer to the table below.
