2016 Registered Vehicles’ Export Validity for Kenya

2023年から2024年への移行にあたり、ケニア向けに輸出可能な車両の年式が変更されます。
初度登録年が2016年の適合証明書は2023年12月31日をもって無効、車両は規制対象として輸出不可能となります。輸出業者様および各関係者様はご注意ください。
尚、上記車両は本年度内にケニアへ到着する必要がありますが、到着しなかった場合弊社では一切の責任を負いかねますことをご理解・ご了承くださいますようお願い申し上げます。

This is an announcement regarding the vehicle age limitation as stated in the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) KENYA STANDARDS 1515

As we begin to transition from 2023 to 2024, the allowable vehicle age requirement for export to Kenya will change. Please be advised that all vehicles registered in 2016 and issued with a Certificate of Road Worthiness from October 2, 2023 shall have a maximum validity date of up to December 31, 2023. Furthermore, inspected 2016 registered vehicles must arrive in Kenya on or before December 31, 2023. Please be advised that QISJ assumes no responsibility for failure to do so. As mandated by KEBS regulation, beginning January 1, 2024, all vehicles registered in 2016 will not be allowed for export into Kenya.
