2010 Registered Vehicles’ Export Validity for Kenya

ケニア基準局（KEBS）の定めるKS1515：2000に関するお知らせ（年式規制）

2017年から2018年への移行にあたり、ケニア向けに輸出可能な車両の年式が変更されます。
初度登録年が2010年の適合証明書は2017年12月31日をもって無効、車両は規制対象として輸出不可能となります。輸出業者様および各関係者様はご注意ください。
尚、上記車両は本年度内にケニアへ到着する必要がありますが、到着しなかった場合弊社では一切の責任を負いかねますことをご理解・ご了承くださいますようお願い申し上げます。

2018年1月1日からは、初度登録年が2011年以降の車両が輸出可能となります。ただし、車両の製造年が初度登録年より1年以上経過している場合は認められませんのでご注意下さい。

This is an announcement regarding the vehicle age limitation as stated in the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) KS 1515:2000

As we begin to transition from 2017 to 2018, the allowable vehicle age requirement for export to Kenya will change.  Please be advised that all vehicles registered in 2010 and issued with a Certificate of Road Worthiness from October 1, 2017 shall have a maximum validity date of up to December 31, 2017.  Furthermore, inspected 2010 registered vehicles must arrive in Kenya on or before December 31, 2017.   Please be advised that QISJ assumes no responsibility for failure to do so.  As mandated by KEBS regulation, beginning January 1, 2018, all vehicles registered in 2010 will not be allowed for export into Kenya.

From January 1, 2018 only vehicles registered in 2011 shall be allowed export into Kenya.  However, please note that the year of registration and the year of manufacture should not have a gap of more than one year.  For reference, please refer to the table below.
